You get two powertrains to consider for the Toyota Crown. The nice thing is that both are fuel-efficient hybrids. One has more horsepower. The base hybrid powertrain is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pairs with three electric motors and a CVT. This base powertrain delivers 236 horsepower and gets an EPA-estimated 41 miles per gallon highway. The more powerful hybrid powertrain has a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a rear-axle motor that delivers 340 horsepower, goes from zero to 60 in 5.7 seconds, and gets up to 32 miles per gallon highway.
All-wheel drive is standard and adjusts to two-wheel drive for fuel economy when the road conditions are favorable. The all-wheel drive setup can also change the ratio of power to the rear or front axles to provide more precise handling or increased power.
Interior/Exterior
