Performance
The new Crown Signia will be released as a hybrid model. As such, the SUV will only be offered with a single powertrain option. This hybrid setup will see a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors to provide all-wheel drive, 243 horsepower, and an estimated 36 mpg combined. Also, the new Signia will allow for some decent towing as it can move about 2,700 pounds, respectively.
Design
Even at a glance, it's easy for Danville and Bloomsburg shoppers to see how refined the new Crown Signia is. Its alluring aesthetic is defined by its stylish headlights, available 21-inch wheels, and bold front grille. While its cabin, which is similar to the Crown sedan, is crafted with nice materials and a pleasant-looking dashboard design.
Standard upholstery combines cloth and vinyl in the XLE model, but the Limited upgrades to leather seats. Trims
The Toyota Crown Signia is offered in two trims: XLE and Limited.
XLE: As the base model, the XLE is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors to provide all-wheel drive. The interior is laden with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a heated leather steering wheel, heated front seats with eight-way adjustment, and a six-speaker audio system.
Limited: As the highest trim available, the Limited offers everything found in the XLE, along with new amenities. These include a fixed-glass panoramic roof, leather upholstery, heated rear seats, and an 11-speaker JBL premium audio system.
Technology
Across the board, all new Crown Signia models will come standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen Multimedia Display and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The central touchscreen offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus other connectivity features, including Wi-Fi, over-the-air updates, and a voice assistant. While the XLE trim comes with a six-speaker stereo, this is upgraded to an 11-speaker stereo tuned by JBL in the Limited trim.
Safety
When it comes to driver safety, Toyota puts everything it has into its vehicles. The new Crown Signia is no exception and features most of Toyota's latest driver-assistance features as standard equipment. All models have automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist.
For more advanced tech like a 360-degree parking camera, front cross-traffic alert, and lane change assist, Williamsport customers must purchase the optional Tech package exclusively offered for the Limited trim.
